MendleMax 3D Printer

My son and I had been interested in 3D printing for a while.  When one of our local metalworking group people lost interest in their printer he sold it to us.Assembly

The printer had been about 50% assembled. It had a lot of broken, missing, or poorly made parts.  We bought, made, modified parts untill everything looked to be in place.


A fair amount of tweaking with the Dremel was required to get the 3D printer to run.


Finally we built our first part.  After much tweaking of the mechanical parts the printer moved to my son Mikael’s house for electronics and software tweaking.  We have probably built over a hundred parts with this printer.  His website with more electronics and software information is at:
